Salon started life as a pop up above a cheese shop in Brixton’s Market Row. Our food is guided by the seasons, and our menu changes from week to week and month to month, depending on what produce we have available to us. We use lots of UK produce, and work with local suppliers to ensure we always source the very best ingredients we can get our hands on.
Over the past five years, we have grown organically, gradually evolving from a pop up, to a semi permanent venture, to a fully functioning restaurant. In August 2016, we installed a bar area on the ground floor, where we serve a range of cocktails, low intervention, organic and biodynamic wines, as well as craft beers and artisanal spirits. In November 2017, we opened the Wine Store next door, selling 130 lines of low intervention, organic and biodynamic wine from across the world.
